Serves 1. A healthy milkshake alternative, featuring organic matcha powder with added protein, healthy fats, and natural sweetener.
1 heaping Tbsp cashew butter (or 1/4 cup raw and soaked cashews) 1 cup water 1 Tbsp hemp seeds 1 scoop Growing Naturals Pea Protein powder 2 dates (or alternative sweetener like Maple Syrup) 1 frozen banana 1 tsp organic matcha powder (we have green and rooibos) 1/4 tsp maca (for a malty taste, optional) 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (for taste, optional) Ice
Blend the water, hemp seeds and cashew butter/cashews until you get a milky consistency. Add in the protein powder, matcha, maca and dates and blend until smooth. Lastly add the frozen banana cut into chunks and ice and continue blending until you get the desired consistency. Add more sweetener or ice if necessary.
